McDonald’s Billboard “on fire”

Agency: OMD

To demonstrate how hot McDonald’s new spicy chicken sandwich was, OMD turned thousands of heads instantly by bringing in the fire department to cool the flames. The board was located next to Seattle’s biggest highway and across from the region’s biggest sports arena. This effort let the Seattle market to sell more Spicy Chicken sandwiches than any other U.S. McDonald’s.
